Description We are offering a unique opportunity for a Database Developer role based in Columbus, Ohio. The role involves a blend of office and remote work, providing the flexibility of a hybrid working environment. This position offers a contract employment opportunity. As a Database Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data processing pipelines and workflows. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in Python, SQL, AWS technologies, and data architecture.Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize data processing pipelines and workflows. Implement and manage data solutions using AWS services like S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda. Perform data wrangling and exploration to support business needs. Develop and maintain robust ETL processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. Provide production support, identify and automate areas of improvement. Apply your skills in scripting and automation to enhance operational efficiency. Leverage your expertise in version control with Git to maintain code integrity. Utilize your knowledge of machine learning and statistical analysis methods to derive actionable insights from data. Embrace emerging technologies to streamline workloads and enhance operational efficiency. Utilize your skills in Python, SQL, and AWS technologies to design, architect, and optimize data pipelines. Apply your experience with SQL Server, GIT, and other relevant technologies to deliver high-quality database solutions. Requirements Proficiency in SQL, Python, and GIT for database development and version control. Experience in designing, streamlining, and optimizing databases. Proficient in using AWS technologies, specifically AWS Athena and S3 for data processing and storage. Knowledge of SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Server for managing and storing data. Familiarity with SSIS for data extraction, transformation, and loading. Experience in production support and workstation support. Understanding of data architecture and the ability to develop and manage data pipelines. Experience with machine learning and statistical analysis for data processing and interpretation. Ability to adapt to emerging technologies and implement automation strategies. Experience with scripting for task automation. Understanding of 'About Time' for effective time management. Ability to work with 'Join Me' for collaborative projects.
