Description Summary:The Business Systems Analyst 3 provides advanced systems support for assigned business unit or assigned application(s).Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains, monitors, updates assigned application systems.

Researches complex problems and takes appropriate action to correct.

Analyzes existing systems or procedures and identifies technical or procedural improvements.

Develops and provides documentation for users and training purposes.

Develops operational procedures for products, services and systems.

Design processes to meet regulatory requirements.

Develops, generates, special or ad hoc reports.

Provides technical support to business unit, customers, management and other users.

Acts as liaison between software vendors and business unit or between users and other corporate areas.

May serve as lead analyst in training or projects.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

5+ years of related experience or an additional 2+ years of IT experience that includes IT Analytics, IT Troubleshooting, or IT Customer Service may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to focus on customer service and to work well with other IT colleagues, vendors and business groups.

Strong documentation skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues

The BSA will conduct comprehensive requirements reviews with project stakeholders, development, architecture and QA teams.

The individual must be self-motivated with a passion for service excellence.

The individual must have proven organizational skills with the ability to develop a detailed work plan to ensure project success.

The individual must be able to research issues and determine and document cause as well as take appropriate corrective actions.

Experience with system testing and documentation

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

Experience with Quality Center or equivalent defect management experience

Experience with SQL, data mapping and data mining.

Experience supporting file transmission processes like FTPs, FTP, FTPs.

Experience with Accounting and Reconcilement applications
