Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced Premium Audit Assistant to work for us as our direct, W2 salaried or hourly employee to join our team. You will:

Create policy changes to update the current term exposures for policies based on their audited results.

Review a list of recently completed audits.

Review recent policy endorsements in system to determine if updates are still needed to current term.

If updates are needed, quote the necessary update in the system and process the endorsement.

If updates are over a certain threshold, then alert the assigned underwriter to the premium increase and place change on hold.

Ensure accurate and timely servicing of accounts.

Maintain user knowledge of internal systems and any available rating programs.

Non-essential function: other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

High school diploma required.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred and may substitute for experience.

Critical thinking: Ability to assess an individual situation and select applicable alternatives from an array of options, resulting in the most appropriate and sustainable decision.

Ability to multi-task several assignments simultaneously while meeting established guidelines.

Results-oriented with strong decision-making, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Ability to adjust priorities based on changing situations.

Ability to communicate effectively.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others to achieve objectives.

Proficient in Excel.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Two years' experience in a professional business or insurance environment.
