Provides appropriate age-specific patient care. Performs quality assurance appropriate for mammography. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.Qualifications:Required:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with advanced certification in mammography within 1 year of employment
Valid Ohio Radiographer License
BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or obtains within the standard probationary period
Effective communications and good interpersonal skillsPreferred:
One year of job-related experience
Previous experience in the use of computers dedicated to mammography equipment and special procedures.Physical Requirements:
May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
May need to lift, pull or push over 50 lbs.
May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
