Window Universe, a Cleveland area replacement window and door company, is looking for candidates with a carpentry background and ability to install windows and doors or willingness to learn.
Work begins each morning at our warehouse in Ohio City. Employees load materials and travel to job sites in the Cleveland and Akron areas by company vehicle.
Job Activities Include:
- Setup jobsite to maintain a clean and safe work area
- Remove existing windows and doors
- Install new products square and level
- Cut and hang interior casing
- Use brake to bend aluminum trim coil for exterior
- Insulate opening and caulk inside and out
- Clean work areas thoroughly and haul away debris
Qualified Candidates should have the following:
- Positive attitude, dependable, and hard-working mindset
- Valid Driver’s License
- Construction background and experience with basic hand tools
- Experience and comfort working from extension ladders at 2nd story elevations
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Ability to communicate with customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner
- Can work independently and/or with others
- And most importantly. . . takes pride in their work and focuses on quality and cleanliness in every single installation
