Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The Pet Groomer will be responsible for performing grooming services on dogs and other pets in a clean, safe, and friendly environment. This role requires a love for animals, strong attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide grooming services, including bathing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing.
Ensure pets are groomed to client specifications and meet safety standards.
Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming needs and preferences.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for both pets and staff.
Keep grooming tools and equipment clean, sanitized, and in good working condition.
Handle pets with care, demonstrating patience and respect for their comfort and well-being.
Maintain accurate records for each pet’s grooming services.
Assist in promoting the store’s grooming services to new and existing clients.
Provide exceptional customer service and answer any questions pet owners may have regarding grooming care and services.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a pet groomer or a related field.
Knowledge of different pet breeds, grooming techniques, and breed-specific grooming needs.
Ability to handle and groom various dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-service-oriented attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of pet health and safety.
Certification in pet grooming (preferred, but not required).
Must be reliable, punctual, and have a passion for animals.
