The City of Cleveland is searching for full-time Automotive Technician to join the team responsible for helping to keep our Public Works vehicles maintained and ready for service. Whether it is police cars, SUVs, light duty pickup trucks, medium duty dump trucks, or one of the many other pieces of equipment in our fleet that is critical to keeping our City safe, clean, accessible, and growing!
Salary: $25.44/hr with Annual Step Increases
Automotive Technician Skills & Requirements:
High School or Trade School Diploma or GED
Two (2) years of experience in repairing and assessing malfunctions, rebuilding, and preventative maintenance on cars and light trucks.
Evidence of training in the automotive repair field
Appropriate tools to perform duties
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
Valid State of Ohio Driver’s license required
