We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Testing Lab Technician to join our team at Altus Medical Lab and Wellness Center. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting various medical tests and analyses to assist healthcare professionals in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases.
Responsibilities:
Perform laboratory tests including but not limited to blood tests, urine tests, and other bodily fluid analyses.
Prepare specimens and samples for testing according to established protocols.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as microscopes, cell counters, and automated analyzers.
Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results by adhering to quality control standards and performing equipment maintenance.
Record and document test results accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) or laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
Associate's degree or higher in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
Current certification (e.g., ASCP, AMT) as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) preferred.
Proven experience working in a medical testing laboratory setting is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
