We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, childcare, or nursing homes and possess the necessary skills to assist individuals with various needs.
Duties:
-Assist individuals with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene
-Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Implement individualized care plans and ensure the well-being of those under your care
- Engage in activities that promote physical and mental stimulation
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals
- Work with people with autism or other developmental disabilities
Qualifications:
- Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or childcare is preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
