Oversee the Pre-Analytic laboratory or Call Center operations for one or multiple sites.
Responsible for all employment related activities, budgets, fiscal performance and adherence to quality and safety guidelines.
Supervise and develop a high performing, customer-oriented team.
Provide leadership and support staff to perform quality work as outlined by department and Cleveland Clinic policies.
Review and ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and quality of work.
Ensure proper staffing levels, workflow and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
Conduct competency assessments and performance appraisals and maintain appropriate documentation.
Review/approve department schedules, paid time off and leave requests.
Coordinate hiring, orientation, scheduling, and staff development including continuing education initiatives.
Assist with policy and procedure development; ensures compliance.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve procedures, processes, speed, quality, and effectiveness.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor's Degree
Two years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Four years relative experience.
OR High School diploma/GED, six years of supervisory or leadership experience, and four years of relative experience.
OR Associate's degree, four years of supervisory or leadership experience, and four years of relative experience.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Current or prior work experience as a phlebotomist
