Description: Lead the implementation into manufacturing of all new, changed, or improved products Develop, evaluate, improve, and document manufacturing processes Work closely with quality and manufacturing to implement measurement and process control techniques Design and develop tooling and processes to ensure effective and efficient production methods Develop sources for and collaborate with vendors to develop specifications for tooling, equipment, parts, or materials Assist operations on estimating staffing requirements, production times, and relative costs to provide data Design and develop a structured process for improvement and coordinate product/process changes (ECR / PCR process) Design, develop and implement fixtures and tooling that are consistent with low defect levels and low product cost Create and maintain accurate documentation of tool drawings and equipment design concepts, with R&D and quality assurance functions.
