Founded in 1837, Cuyahoga County’s safety-net health system operates four hospitals, four emergency departments and more than 20 health centers.Summary:Manages the daily operations of the HR Business Partner Network. Serves as a strategic partner to leadership of assigned departments and functions across The MetroHealth System (MHS) by consulting on issues relating to employee relations, recruitment, compensation, performance management, and employee and organization development needs. Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the assigned unit's financial position, goals and strategic priorities in order to provide relevant HR problem-solving solutions; introduce appropriate initiatives; and to help build organizational effectiveness and high employee engagement. Collaborates with the HR Centers of Excellence teams to deliver quality business outcomes. Advises and coaches management on methodologies to drive workforce performance, via talent management, employee engagement, succession planning, organizational effectiveness and change management. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.Qualifications:Required:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below.

Seven years of progressive professional Human Resources Functional Experience in areas such as Total Rewards, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Workforce Strategy, Talent Management, Organizational Development, and Labor Relations.

Ability to collaborate and build teamwork within groups.

Ability to think strategically, synthesize business data and develop innovative and holistic HR solutions that are forward thinking and growth oriented

Decisive and focused, understands what needs to be done and moves quickly to that end.

Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to adjust style as needed to develop effective relationships with all levels of leadership, employees and peers.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Applicant Tracking or HRIS Systems; ability to convey technical information to layperson audiences.Preferred:

Master’s Degree (MBA, MPH, etc.)

Experience working in a Human Resource functional area for a large, complex organization.

Certified HR Professional through SHRM (CP/SCP) or HRCI (PHR/SPHR)

Familiar with Joint Commission, ODH, CARF, and other health care related standards.

Familiarity with a hospital settingPhysical Demands:

May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating.

May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing.

Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.

Ability to read job related documents.

Ability to use computer.
