job detailsA growing Cleveland food manufacturing company is looking for a 1st shift Maintenance Technician who will work directly with Maintenance Manager to ensure all equipment is functioning properly at all times. Facility has dry, refrigerated, and freezer areas, however, most of the work is done in a refrigerated environment. Any previous food manufacturing and welding experience is a plus. If interested, please today.salary: $52,000 - $72,800 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 5 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesPay: $25-$35 hr (based on experience)Hours: 7am to 5pm (M-F)Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Competent and comfortable working with high voltage electrical equipment. (Ex:240v/480v)
Experience working on detailed machinery ideally on food processing, packing and production equipment.
Diagnose mechanical issues, troubleshoot malfunctions, and conduct repairs as necessary to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with leadership to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production schedules.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficient operation
Conduct regular inspections, lubrication, and adjustments on various equipment components to maintain optimal performance.
Replace or repair parts and equipment as necessary.
Coordinate with external suppliers and contractors for specialized repairs and replacement of parts, when necessary, with approval from management.
Keep updated records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
