Legal Assistant

Description We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join a prominent firm in Cleveland, Ohio. This role involves supporting attorneys in the field of Civil Litigation, offering an opportunity to contribute to a variety of areas within the legal industry. This position can sit on a hybrid basis but does require in-office time. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive litigation support to 2 to 3 attorneys Manage scheduling and calendaring requirements for the team Ensure accurate and efficient processing of e-filing tasks Maintain a supportive role in a variety of litigation areas Keep track of and update client records and case details regularly.Requirements Applicant must hold a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role Proficiency in Civil Litigation is essential Possession of a relevant degree or certification in Law or similar fields is necessary Demonstrable experience in legal research and documentation is required Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite is a must Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently is necessary Sound knowledge of legal terminologies and procedures is required Strong organizational and planning skills are essential Must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Familiarity with court procedures and protocols is a plus.
