We are currently seeking a Lead PET/CT Technologist to join our team and assist in overseeing our Ohio team!

Anticipated Schedule:

Will need to be available Monday-Saturday

Weekly guarantee of hours

Qualifications:

Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program and/or Bachelor's degree in relevant field

Registered/registry eligible: NMTCB-CNMT or ARRT(N)

Ability to receive permit to practice(s) as necessary

Ability to produce quality special imaging with little supervision

Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check, urine drug screen and physical

Team Lead Duties and Responsibilities

Maintains strong technical knowledge of the PET/CT equipment, basic troubleshooting and when/how to call OEM for service. Includes managing the down system event with the assistance of the Regional Operations Manager.

Maintains a strong working knowledge of the entire mobile unit interior/exterior and truck. Knows how and when to call vendors for service. Includes being resourceful in solving problems efficiently and maintaining equipment uptime.

Assists Regional Operations Manager and client with maintaining IT network between all units and peripheral devices.

Manages all ACR accreditations and re-accreditations for each unit if directed by Regional Operations Manager. This includes image selection, compiling QC records and reviewing all completed packets with the lead interpreting physician and physicist for approval prior to submission.

Completes monthly on-site audits of all QC documents for each unit.

Completion of monthly radiation functions as designated by the SMS RSO, with assistance of Regional Operations Manager if needed.

Performs monthly random image audit on each unit to insure image quality; including any follow up with lead interpreting physician on any image quality concerns.

Schedules annual physics surveys for each system in a timely manner. File and update physics reports on each unit and SMS corporate office.

Assists the Regional Operations Manager with handling client feedback, regulatory updates, TJC compliance, route logistics (including DOT compliance), Team Member performance, and other operational requirements as needed. Includes meeting with Regional Operations Manager on a monthly basis to review each unit.
