From locomotives, transit, freight cars and engines, to tracks, signals and advanced technology, we ensure customers can count on us to meet their needs.Learn how we keep our customers rolling by following us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn, and by visiting progressrail.com .Education / Training: BS Degree in Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering or related field is preferred 3-5 years of EHS related experience in an industrial settingJob Title:Environmental Health Safety ManagerCity:ClevelandKey Job Elements: Provides regular approved Safety training to Progress Rail employees, including New Hire, OSHA, CPR, AED training, etc.; Ensures compliance of facilities for OSHA, EPA, State, County and local policies and procedures; Leads incident investigations and/or response teams for EHS incidents; Implements corrective actions found during investigations and/or audits; Manages preventable maintenance schedules; Completes action items as directed in Progress Rail Safety Compliance System (PRACSNET); Conducts Safety and Environmental audits and inspections; Performs routine Job Safety Analyses; Maintains and updates MSDS Materials/Manuals; Serves as Facility’s Emergency Coordinator; Monitors daily production to promote safe working conditions; Leads Facility’s Safety Committee; Maintains all records related to Safety function in a designated shop; Orders Personal Protective Equipment and maintains the distribution system; Other job-related duties as assigned.Qualifications and Experience: Experience with State and Federal environmental regulations; Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with a wide variety of audiences; Experience with Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Valid driver’s license; Must be able to pass a background check which reviews any and all felonies and misdemeanors in the past 7 years; Must be able to meet requirements of pre-employment, post-offer drug test and fitness for duty medical review and exam; First Aid/CPR/AED Certification.EEO:Equal Opportunity Employer – Race/Color/Sex/Religion/National Origin/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Vets/DisabilitiesBenefits:
