Credit/Collections Supervisor/Manager

Description We are assisting a client in Cleveland seeking a Collections Manager to join their team. This role involves managing the company’s financial collection department, developing and overseeing a team, and implementing strategies to maximize debt recovery.Responsibilities:Manage company’s financial collection departmentDevelop and oversee a team of 10-12Assist in the hiring and training process of the team, performance reviews and feedback reportsDevelop processes and KPIsImplement strategies to maximize deb recoveryProcess improvementMonitor accounts and analyze reports – This person will not be doing any of the day-to-day collectionsEnsure compliance – maintain knowledge of laws, regulations and complianceInvestigate and locate missing client information or financial informationRequirements Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Collection Processes. Experience in Account Management, with an emphasis on customer relations and resolution. Excellent Leadership Skills, with prior experience in supervising or managing a team. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to credit and collections.
