PAY: $40 to 63 an hour depending on experience

SCHEDULE/ENVIRONMENT: On-site

Description:

Program, commission, troubleshoot, and debug Siemens PLC's in the melt shop. Mostly Siemens TIA, some Siemens S7/Step7

Assist maintenance and production employees with Siemens troubleshooting

Work with Siemens VFDs and HMIs

Systems upgrades

MUST HAVES:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or a similar field) with 4+ years of Controls Engineering experience, OR Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering (or a similar field) with 8+ years of Controls Engineering experience

Significant Siemens experience, TIA or S7

NICE TO HAVES:

VFD experience

Steel industry experience or similar industry

Understanding of power distribution and AC/DC motor drives

Knowledge of industrial LANs and field bus networking

PLC programming from scratch

Demonstrated experience with large automation projects / complex systems
