Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are offering a contract position as an Accounts Receivable Specialist based in Cleveland, Ohio. This role primarily involves managing and maintaining customer credit records and processing their applications. With a focus on ensuring accuracy and efficiency, you will be a key player in our accounting team.Responsibilities: Efficiently process and validate customer credit applications. Maintain detailed and precise customer credit records. Actively monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when needed. Ensure the accurate and timely posting of transactions, following up on any missing or unclear data. Assist in maintaining the Accounts Receivable general ledger and prepare journal entries for month-end close duties. Foster optimal use of electronic payment methods and manage corresponding remittance details to enhance cash collection and invoice matching. Perform data entry into the agency management system for commission revenue receipts and post revenue to the appropriate clients, policies, and policy terms. Respond to inquiries from employees regarding accounts, department procedures, and other Accounting services. Uphold the confidentiality of sensitive financial information and adhere to regulatory requirements.
