Description Robert Half is working with an East side client seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with a background in construction to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of AP experience and be familiar with Foundation software.Responsibilities:
Manage the full accounts payable process, including processing invoices, verifying accuracy, obtaining approvals, and issuing payments
Track and reconcile company credit card purchases
Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices related to construction projects
Assist in month-end close process, including reconciliations and reporting
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
Assist with other accounting tasks and projects as needed

Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in the construction industry
Experience working with Foundation software is required
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately process high volumes of invoices
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Additional accounting coursework or a degree is a plus
