Job Title: Accounts Payable CoordinatorLocation: Westlake, OhioOverview: Join our client's dynamic Accounts Payable team as an Accounts Payable Coordinator and play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of their vendor account management processes. You'll work closely with the Accounts Payable Supervisor to maintain vendor accounts, process invoices, and resolve discrepancies promptly, contributing directly to the department's success.Key Responsibilities:Timely Invoice Processing: Ensure all invoices for assigned vendor accounts are received and processed within established guidelines.Discrepancy Analysis: Investigate and analyze invoice discrepancies, determining root causes and implementing necessary actions to resolve issues effectively.Credit Management: Prepare and submit credit requests to vendors for billing discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution and fund recovery.Data Accuracy: Initiate internal requests to correct any inaccuracies in receipts or master data entries in SAP.Payment Reconciliation: Assist in matching and clearing payables with electronic and manual payments, maintaining balanced vendor account statements.Receipt Resolution: Support in reviewing and resolving open receipts associated with assigned vendors.Communication and Support: Collaborate with the AP Lead to address inquiries from vendors, tax authorities, and internal auditors promptly and professionally.Qualifications:Education: Associate's degree in accounting or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.Experience: Prior experience in accounts payable or a similar role is beneficial.Skills: Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
