Second Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Third Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Position Summary:
Strive House is hiring compassionate, reliable Behavioral Health Specialists to support high-risk girls in a safe, trauma-informed home. This role provides direct care, supervision, and therapeutic support while fostering a nurturing, structured environment. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you’ll help maintain daily routines, model positive behavior, and implement trauma-informed interventions that promote healing, growth, and a positive peer culture.
Core Responsibilities:
Build authentic relationships with residents and support them in achieving daily and long-term goals
Provide consistent supervision and maintain a safe, trauma-informed environment
Support therapeutic goals by implementing daily programming and skill-building activities
Deliver individual and group support in areas like hygiene, emotional regulation, and life skills
Use strength-based communication, unconditional positive regard, and active listening
Complete documentation in a timely and accurate manner (training provided)
Assist in planning and leading community outings and structured activities
Coordinate effective shift transitions by communicating youth needs and updates
Participate in team meetings, staff training, and ongoing professional development
Provide transportation to appointments or home visits if needed (with clean driving record)
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years’ experience working with youth in residential or at-risk settings preferred
Trauma-Informed Care knowledge (training available)
Clean driving record and insurance (for occasional transportation duties)
CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain
Must pass a background check (cost reimbursed by Strive House)
Strong emotional intelligence, consistency, and communication skills
Bilingual or sign language skills are a plus
