Teva, a global organization, with a brand of evolving success. Be part of it!The opportunityWe are searching for an Operator III to join our team in Cincinnati, OH! As an Operator III, you will work as a member of a production line. This includes performing some preventative maintenance tasks, conducting minor repairs to the line and working collaboratively with other departments to make an impact by improving technical efficiency and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). The preferred candidate blends working knowledge of equipment and processes with an understanding of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) concepts to drive a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.How you’ll spend your day

Support the Teva Production System (TPS) culture and the department’s implementation of TPM.

As a change agent, motivate, coach, and lead others in regards to TPM culture across the site.

Performs production duties in area/line as designated by area supervision.

Perform TPM Gemba with maintenance to address generated abnormality cards and assign work order priorities.

Coordinate with TPM Leader to execute TPM learning/training plans.

Determine Centerline and Clean Inspect Lubricate (CIL) strategies.

Improve the plant’s performance including Delivery, Production Capacity, Operational Costs, and Quality.

Lead root cause analysis (A3) of repetitive problems and investigate equipment failures.

Work closely with maintenance to perform line improvements and repairs as necessary.

Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for entering and performing work orders.

Performs job functions in accordance with company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), and Batch Record instructions.

Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situation or data requires knowledge and evaluation of identifiable factors.

Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies and selects methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Normally receives minimal-to-moderate instruction on routine work and receives detailed instructions on new assignments.

Proactively recommends methods and procedures for problem resolution

Required to routinely wear personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, safety glasses, powered air purifying respirator, gloves, etc

May be required to stand for prolonged periods of time

Occasionally be lifting or moving heavy objects up to 50 pounds

Your experience and qualificationsEquivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Prefer associates or technical degree.

Requires a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a regulated industry.

TPM Training strongly preferred.

Pharmaceutical or other cGMP manufacturing facility experience required. Solid oral dosage packaging equipment knowledge strongly preferred.

OPEX/Lean Implementation experience preferred.

Technical knowledge of equipment attributes and processes and root cause problem solving.

Ability to work with and motivate individuals to help adapt to culture change required.

Self-directed with ability to organize and prioritize work.

Communicate effectively with written and oral communication skills.

Interact positively with co-workers, team, and supervision.

Computer proficiency with knowledge of automated systems (CMMS) preferred.
