Reviewing EOB with patients
Obtain prior authorization of services from both commercial and government payers
Complete required manual and electronic forms to submit for reimbursement
Work closely with other functional teams to ensure data quality and consistency
Send notice of money owed to insurance companies and patients
Focus on specific patient accounts regarding matters of billing and reimbursement

Medical billing experience desired
Medical Insurance Verification experience highly desired
Expertise in medical billing
General familiarity with explanation of benefits (EOB's)
Demonstrated knowledge of Medical Insurance
Strong familiarity with Medical Insurance Billing
Prior Authorizations experience highly preferred
Practical knowledge of EOB
Medical Insurance experience preferred
Adeptness in Medical Insurance Billing
Microsoft Office knowledge required
Prefer 2+ years experience in medical billing or within the revenue cycle
High school diploma or equivalent required

Sound written and verbal communication skills
Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
