We are a fast-growing brand of electronics accessories looking for a capable customer service assistant for our office in Cincinnati. This is an exciting position as it affords the opportunity to be a key member of an important part of the company. There is significant flexibility in timing.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Handling customer service inquiries to our primary support email using our customer support email platform
Helping to prepare and coordinate shipments for customers who've requested replacements or other customer service related matters
Answering our customer service hotline and speaking directly with customers regarding order information and product support.
Requirements and Experience
What's on paper (meaning your resume) matters less to us than the soft skills you possess and a willingness to learn. This position will be entrusted with a good deal of responsibility, so we're looking for a certain personality fit and skill set, such as:
Ability to (and affinity for) interacting with people
Past customer service experience preferred
Past administrative assistant experience preferred (but not required)
Generally proficient with computers (or can learn computer-related tasks on the fly fairly quickly. i.e., not a technophobe)
Detailed oriented
Strong written communication skills
We will require a writing sample and may ask you to do some general writing exercises during the interview process.
Learn quickly on the fly
Trustworthy/reliable (no criminal records, good references)
Looking for work that's rewarding and challenging
Compensation and Benefits
Job type: Part-time
Starting compensation: $12-$15/hr (depending on experience and fit)
Laid back atmosphere/timing: you control your work environment. Hours can be flexible. We are a very no-BS company and believe in treating our employees like humans and partners, not like robots.
Varied and challenging work: expect to learn skills and gain experience in a variety of different aspects. Work will be interesting and can get more interesting depending on how involved you wish to be.
