The role involves changing dies and punches, maintaining quality throughout the run, assembling parts into sub-units or complete units, and using blueprints to ensure proper dimensions and tolerance of the finished product. Interpretation of mechanical drawings to determine the appropriate die or punch to form parts is essential. Additionally, the operator will perform all safety and housekeeping duties and other tasks as requested or assigned by the Supervisor.Responsibilities
Set up, tear down, and changeovers of the press brake machine.
Change dies and punches as required.
Maintain quality throughout the production run.
Assemble parts into sub-units or complete units.
Use blueprints to ensure proper dimensions and tolerance of the finished product.
Interpret mechanical drawings to determine the appropriate die or punch.
Perform all safety and housekeeping duties.
Complete other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by the Supervisor.
