Key Responsibilities of this position include:
Build blend packets based on melt schedule by P.O. number.
Take modified work order to generate paperwork for each P,O.
Maintaining inventory for raw materials and turnings.
Possessing knowledge of revert, scrap categories and material identification.
Communicating with management when problems occur.
Working with production to correct blending and furnace issues related to formulation.
Completing inventory movements utilizing SAP software, including but not limited to, the consumption of raw materials, inputting production from other plant functions etc.
Investigating root causes of post melt chemistry issues.
Creating Production Orders. (SAP function)
Working with and helping coordinate the briquetter crews so material is available to melt in alignment with melt schedule.
Being the SPA for physical inventory at TPD location.
Basic Qualifications:
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
Strong general computer skills.
Usage of Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of blending and melting operations
