Description We are offering a role in the field of accounting and analysis in BROADVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio, 44147-3649, United States. The role is for a Senior Accountant/Analyst who will be responsible for managing the accuracy of financial data related to projects and inventory pricing, as well as providing support in financial accounting tasks.Responsibilities: Implement and maintain controls to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data in relation to projects. Conduct analysis and develop strategies for inventory pricing and cost management. Assist in month-end closing activities including the preparation and execution of journal entries and reconciliations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve variances and discrepancies in financial statements and reports. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and reports. Analyze financial data related to projects, including headers, lines, and closing entries. Use skills such as Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, Financial Analysis to perform duties effectively. Requirements Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferred Proven experience in account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation Proficient in bank reconciliations and journal entries Knowledge of general ledger functions and financial analysis Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Prior experience in month-end close processes Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be authorized to work in the applicable country without sponsorship.
