Database Administrator

Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Database Administrator in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry, located in BLUE ASH, Ohio. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to maintaining and optimizing SQLServer databases within our organization.Responsibilities: Administering SQLServer databases and ensuring their performance, availability, and security. Conducting AB testing to optimize database performance and resolve any issues. Managing and testing database backup technologies to ensure data integrity and security. Employing optimal configuration management strategies to improve database efficiency. Overseeing the general high-level administration tasks without the requirement of architecture. Performing SQL performance tuning and SQL tuning to optimize database operations. Maintaining the database system and updating necessary components as needed. Ensuring the database operates efficiently and without error. Making necessary modifications to the database to ensure it meets company needs. Monitoring the system's performance and identifying any problems that may arise. Requirements Proven experience in Microsoft SQL Server management and operation. Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Optimization techniques. Demonstrated knowledge of AB Testing procedures. Familiarity with various Backup Technologies and their application in a healthcare setting. Proficiency in Configuration Management, preferably within a healthcare environment. Prior experience in Database Administration, specifically in hospitals or healthcare institutions. Ability to perform Performance Tuning to ensure optimal database function. Solid knowledge of SQL Performance Tuning, with a focus on improving efficiency and reducing lag. Experience with SQL Tuning, including the ability to diagnose and correct performance issues.
