Design, code, and test embedded systems firmware
Embedded development / coding in C/C language (mostly C, some C)
Partner with internal Engineering team on a variety of different projects with customers in a wide range of industries
MUST HAVE:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or a similar field
5+ years of Firmware Engineering experience
Significant Embedded RTOS (real time operating systems) experience. Examples include; FreeRTOS, Azure (previously known as ThreadX), Zephyr, QNX/Neutrino, VxWorks, Integrity (Green Hills), MQX,TI-RTOS, SEGGER embOS
Experience working with communication protocols
Embedded C or C development
ARM microcontrollers
Device driver development
PLUS:
Wireless communication protocols (bluetooth, Wi-Fi, zigbee)
Experience workings as an Embedded Engineer in a regulated environment (aerospace, medical device, pharma, automotive, government, etc.)
Work SiteThis is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Avon, Ohio and some days remote.Work EnvironmentOnsite daily preferred, but remote flexibility (up to 2 days a week) available for the right candidate.
