Description:Full cycle Embedded Software Engineering, including all of the following: software specification, software design, embedded coding and development, software testing, software documentation.
Design, code, and test embedded systems firmware
Embedded development / coding in C/C language
Partner with internal Engineering team on a variety of different projects with customers in a wide range of industries
Skills:Embedded c, Microcontroller, Rtos, Arm, Embedded system, C/c, Firmware, bluetooth, zigbee, wi-fi, regulated environmentAdditional Skills & Qualifications:MUST HAVE:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or a similar field
5+ years of Firmware Engineering experience
Significant Embedded RTOS (real time operating systems) experience. Examples include; FreeRTOS, Azure (previously known as ThreadX), Zephyr, QNX/Neutrino, VxWorks, Integrity (Green Hills), MQX, uC/OS (“Micro-C OS” or Micrium OS), TI-RTOS, SEGGER embOS
Experience working with communication protocols
Embedded C or C development
ARM microcontrollers
Device driver development
PLUS:
Wireless communication protocols (bluetooth, Wi-Fi, zigbee)
Experience workings as an Embedded Engineer in a regulated environment (aerospace, medical device, pharma, automotive, government, etc.)
