I am in need of a Transcriber who can listen to a Mini Cassette Tape and Transcribe into typed form, a Book.
You will need to use a Computer and be able to be proficient with Word and possibly a Publishing Software.
I will be transcribing onto a Transcription Machine my thoughts that will be eventually become an Auto-Biography of my life and after everything is completed, I will get it Published in Book form, I hope.
You will randomly receive Mini Cassette Tapes by mail with the audio on them. You must sign a Disclosure Document stating you will NEVER divulge any information I let you see or type down because some of my History can be extremely Sensitive in nature. You must send back to me your completed work that you have done up to that point in the project by Email to me and in .PDF form so I can view it, modify it, etc. Your name and/or your Business Name (if you have one) will be prominently mentioned as my Associate Transcriber.
Be Totally Aware: You will be Sued to the Max if you violate my trust!
How you will be Paid for your services.
I have absolutely no idea how much a Transcriber charges for their services. And, I am not a rich man either. I survive on SS. Let me know what you think is a Fair Wage for your services and we'll negotiate if that's alright with you. I will provide to you all the needed information; Phone Number, Email Address, my Location if you agree to be my Transcriber.
And/Or
Another avenue of payment.
I will sign a legal Agreement with you that IF the Book Sells, I will pay you 10% and possibly more if the Book sells well off the proceeds.
Please notice:
It does not matter to me if you are a Man, Woman, Gay, Straight, Transgender. The main things I need is a good typist and knows how to use a Computer and associated programs and knows about Publishing a Book you will need to use to do the Project. I've never done this before. Your advice will become valuable to me. It also does not matter to me where you live, under what conditions you live under, just as long as you are a US Citizen and speak perfect English. I would prefer someone older and seasoned. If you have An Open Mind, you would probably be just person I am looking for.
