World Truck Towing & Recovery, Inc is looking for an innovative and driven Dispatcher to join our team. Our ideal teammate is someone who strives to ensure customers receive prompt, top rate customer service and possess the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Essential Job Functions:
Take incoming customer calls on a multi-line system
Schedule, coordinate service calls and create dispatch tickets
Respond to all email and incoming messages from numerous mailboxes
Provide operators and technicians ticket information, directions, schedule times, parts needed and other pertinent information
Reviews job status frequently, logging and reporting any change in time or cost estimates to the appropriate party and/or customer
Prepares and quotes estimates when required
Prepares invoices, secures and collects appropriate payment
Ability to provide a high level of customer service in a professional and ethical manner
Must display a professional image and be well groomed
Must be dependable and possess and maintain a good attendance record
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
Must be able to prioritize calls accordingly to urgency and importance
Requirements:
Must possess a high school diploma or GED
Must be able to multitask, stay calm, focused and be productive in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in changing situations.
Ability to function effectively in a high-stress environment
Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone and through written communication
Work weekends, days, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts on rotation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A positive attitude and continuous improvement
Strong computer skills and ability to work simultaneously with multiple software systems
Must be able to sit for long periods of time
Must be able to pass and maintain a clean background check and drug screening
