FINISH CARPENTER – MILLWORK INSTALLERS – TRAVELING NATIONWIDE
Top Craft Installation, LLC. is a retail/commercial nationwide fixture and millwork installation company. We are located in Ohio but our area of work is throughout the United States.
AREA OF WORK – U.S.
We are a nationwide custom millwork installation company looking for highly skilled finish carpenters. Our carpenters will be installing custom millwork and retail display fixtures in retail and commercial locations throughout the United States. The ability to read architectural drawings along with shop drawings is a plus but not required. Willing to travel up to 6 weeks at a time is a must.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements for this position are as follows:
- Be proficient in finished carpentry. (Install pre-built and knock down cabinetry, custom millwork, scribe baseboard and gables, install casing and multistage crown molding).
- 2 years of experience as a finish carpenter / cabinet builder.
- Install doors, frames and hardware.
- Self-motivated, self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work with others.
- Ability to be on their feet for up to 10 hours per day, 6 to 7 days a week.
- Willing to work overtime most weeks when traveling.
- The ability to read and comprehend Architectural drawings, plans, shop drawings, etc.
- MUST have a strong commitment to job site safety. OSHA 10 or 30, scissor lift training, forklift certification and First Response Certification a plus. Certifications are not a requirement for employment. (Company will provide the opportunity to get these certifications)
- MUST have and maintain a clean driving record. A Motor Vehicle Report will be run through our insurance.
- MUST have own personal hand tools. Hand tools are what are normally carried in one’s tool vest and small toolbox (includes a drill and impact driver). A list will be provided upon hire.
- Working knowledge of hand tools and power tools related to the carpentry industry.
- Stand, kneel, bend, walk, climb a ladder and lift up to 75 pounds.
