Responsibilities
Managing ad installing beautiful kitchens and bathrooms
Giving careful consideration to the placement of water and electrical systems to ensure safety.
Making sure appropriate materials and finishes are used.
Assisting clients to select and supervise the work of independent contractors, so that their duties are conducted in accordance with clients' visions.
Informing clients about appropriate care for their kitchens.
Keeping a record of hours and activities completed
Observing prescribed building and safety regulations.
Planning and designing architectural elements like walls, ceilings, and floors
Removing walls, non-load bearing and load bearing.
Installing new walls, ceilings, and floors
Installing new fixtures and cabinets
Painting and finishing walls and ceilings
Conducting initial research about the job, the design elements, and construction materials required for the project
Managing the project from start to finish, including coordinating with other employees and/or contractors if needed, and ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards
Communicating effectively with clients and management to keep them informed about project progress and address any concerns or modifications needed
Ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client
Skills
Strong knowledge of construction best practices and building code regulations
Ability to use and interpret schematics, and technical drawings
Excellent verbal communication skills
Creative design skills to think of innovative and unique ideas
Strong project management skills
Ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and other professionals
Strong problem solving skills
