Work directly with SACS Consulting Clients out in the field providing security guard services.

Our security assignments are in Akron, Cleveland and Canton, Ohio - always subject to change.

REQUIREMENTS / TRAINING:

 Security guard assignments with a high level of accountability and professionalism.

 Armed and Unarmed assignments (more armed assignments at this time)

 On the job training provided and as needed.

 Must have a clean criminal background with clean driving record and a reliable vehicle.

 Must pass a drug screen. Must pass a background check with a clean record.

 SACS Consulting will license qualified employees through the State of Ohio/Homeland Security / PISGS / OPOTA for security personnel and investigator personnel.

o Temp to hire employees (through a staffing agency) are not eligible for OPOTA training until completion

of the required 720 hours on their payroll.

o Some (temporary) Security guard assignments offer a higher pay rate per hour.

o A shift premium of an additional .50 per hour is offered for night shifts that start after 5:00 pm.

o Part time hours available. At this time we do not have full time hours only part time hours available.

o We offer an EAP - Employee Assistance Program and AFLAC Supplemental

 Current FAB / CCW a plus.

 Military / law enforcement or security and management experience a plus.

 High school diploma required.

 CPR/ First Aid / AED Certified a plus.

 Current Driver’s License with your own vehicle and ability to legally drive.

 Stun Gun training a plus.

 Leadership skills. Customer service skills.

 Ability to follow instructions, see the big picture – whole surroundings, de-escalate situations, act quickly. Ability

to write a detailed “incident report” and daily activity report (DAR) with details as situations happen on assignment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Security Guard will be responsible to provide security services that include but are not limited to: guard

people, business locations that may include entrances / exits / parking lots.

 Security Guard also screen / wand people / event attendees and employees checking bags, purses etc.

 Monitor clients' security /surveillance cameras. People watching and observing.

 Parking lot monitoring. Walking and driving around assigned business /locations.

 Protect clients' assets, employees and visitors. Surveillance and crowd control.

 Be visible at all times inside/outside at client location to deter crime.

 Unless asked to be discreet or not seen.

 Organize a response in the case of fire, evacuation, or other emergencies. Respond to customer and employee

health emergencies and accidents.

 Liaison with police and city emergency responders.

 Remove unwanted customers or trespassers.

 Must be able to stand and walk long periods of time. This is not a desk post.

 Additional duties by assigned client and also Director of Operations.

 Must be flexible with schedule and available evenings, weekends and holidays with after-hours availability as

well.

DRESS / UNIFORM:

 A SACS Consulting polo shirt, reflective vest, outdoor jacket, cap is provided to SACS employees at no cost.

 A sport coat / jacket blazer /dress slacks, skirt may be required for specific assignments.

JOB ASSIGNMENTS:

Can be at the following types of locations with various different assignments, not limited to and subject to change:

 Examples of our clients in which we have contracts and require security guards:

 Event Venues, Special Events, Bars, Weddings, Manufacturing/Factory, Construction Sites,

Nursing Homes, Banks, Corporations, Small Businesses, Vacant Buildings, Office Building/

Complexes, Grocery Stores and other high-risk events/locations including protests and labor

negotiations.

 Examples of assignments outside of regular security assignments. Experience is required for these

assignments and are only assigned by our Director of Operations:

 Electronic Debug Sweeps / GPS Vehicle Sweeps, Surveillance assignments, Investigations,

Executive Protection assignments, Employee Termination assignments and Firewatch and

burglar alarm watch/drop assignments.
