Looking for a Live-In House Manager/Personal Assistant for a shared living home for seniors in Akron, Ohio, to oversee the day-to-day operations and overall well-being of the property. The ideal candidate will have a strong history of helping others, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to create a welcoming environment for residents or occupants.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and supervise the general upkeep and maintenance of the property, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.

2. Oversee administrative tasks, including record-keeping, correspondence, and documentation related to property management.

3. Coordinate and manage staff, ensuring efficient operation and adherence to established protocols.

4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction.

5. Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for repairs, maintenance, and improvement projects.

6. Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance or safety concerns promptly.

7. Address and resolve resident or occupant inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism and empathy.

8. Manage budgets, financial transactions, and expenses related to property maintenance and operations.

9.Assist with initial set up of new homes.

Qualifications:

1. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

3. Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

4. Knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.

5. Familiarity with relevant software for property management and record-keeping; ability to use administrative software, email, and social media.

6. Problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions.

7. Customer service-oriented mindset with a commitment to resident satisfaction.

Compensation:

House manager will be provided a private 1bd apartment in a separate living area with a private entrance in exchange for work.
