Ohio Brewing Company is a longstanding brewery located in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Founded in 1997 and still going strong. We are looking to add a part time Cellar Person to add to our team. 20-30 hours a week with very flexible hours.
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
-CIP of all brewery vessels
-Wort and beer transfer
-Yeast harvest, pitching and health management
-Fermentation monitoring
-Manual cleaning of brewery equipment and parts
-Assist brewers with wort-creation and brew house operation
-Assist with packaging; keg filling & cleaning
-Operating density reading equipment
-Strict adherence to sanitary and record-keeping standards
-Basic facilities maintenance
-Basic brewery equipment maintenance
Qualifications:
-At least six months previous experience working in a brewery is desired, but not required
-Demonstrated track record of success in prior positions
Successful candidates will also possess:
-Excellent time management and organizational skills
-Close attention to details
-Willingness to assist with tasks outside key responsibilities
-Communicate efficiently with team and customers
-Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
Must be able to:
-Lift 55 lbs and move 165 lbs occasionally
-Stand for 8-10 hours per day
-Work in a non-temperature controlled environment, handling of hazardous materials
Compensation based on experience, but definitely includes beer!
