Bachelors or Associates degree in mechanical engineering and 2 years experience.
Responsible for the mechanical design of ASME pressure vessels, heat exchangers and miscellaneous equipment.
Responsible for creating and editing detailed bills of materials
Working knowledge of strength of materials, statics, mechanics
Experience with CAD software, Adobe Acrobat and MS Office products
Ability to check drawings for accuracy against customer specifications, engineering calculations and ASME code requirements.
Must be able to work directly with other engineers, draftsmen, purchasing and shop personnel
Basic knowledge of machining and welding fundamentals
