We are a growing CPA firm offering professional bookkeeping services to small businesses. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional client service and financial solutions that help our clients grow and succeed. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Business Development Associate to help us expand our client base by targeting small businesses and entrepreneurs who can benefit from our services.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to generate leads and onboard at least one new bookkeeping client per month.

Build and maintain relationships with potential clients through phone calls, emails, and social media outreach.

Attend networking events (local/online) to promote services and build partnerships.

Manage referral programs and encourage current clients to refer new business.

Create and execute email marketing campaigns targeting small business owners.

Collaborate with the marketing team to improve online presence through social media and content creation.

Conduct follow-ups with leads to convert them into clients.

Track and report on business development activities, successes, and areas for improvement.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within financial services, bookkeeping, or related industries.

Familiarity with bookkeeping or financial services is a strong plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results.

Proficiency in CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Experience:

2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing, with a track record of client acquisition.

Experience working in or targeting small businesses.

Experience with social media marketing, email campaigns, and online networking platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.).

Knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting, or financial software (e.g., QuickBooks) is an advantage.
