Description Join a growing team at a Manufacturing company as an Accounting Manager in this immediate opening. The Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring daily operations are running smoothly, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. This is a wonderful opportunity to be employed by a firm that that will appreciate your efforts and reward your results as you establish and scale their accounting and finance operations.ResponsibilitiesRegular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accountsPrepare various technical accounting analyses, policies and proceduresCollaborate with FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics and actual spend against budgets/outlookAssist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation and reconciliation processesDrive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet tight deadlines Requirements - Recent relevant financial experience

Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred

Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

Solid technical skills

Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel

Knowledge of account reconciliation

Customer service oriented communication skills
