Geotechnical Civil Engineer (Solid Waste & CCR)

Aspire to develop, manage and implement some of the best projects regionally, with opportunities to work on projects nationally or internationally.The job responsibilities for the position will include but are not limited to:Performing geotechnical investigations including slope stability analyses and settlement analysesDeveloping geotechnical recommendations for large civil and geotechnical projects.Documentation and use of industry standard computer software for the positionUtilizing resources including Slope/W, SLIDE, AutoCAD Civil 3D, APile, LPile, GRLWEAP, Settle3Responsible for training and leading junior level engineers and scientists in the completion of a variety of geotechnical projectsInvestigating dams or impoundmentsSite review and assessments specific to Coal Combustion Residuals (CCR)Training junior staff and providing guidance on landfill designActing as a point of expertise in projects with NCDOT
