The Chief of Staff for the News and Current Affairs Video Content team will manage a team of multimedia producers and journalists to create and distribute consumer-first news content that matters. The Chief of Staff sets the daily editorial agenda for the fast-paced and innovative Video Content team, working with the acclaimed 9News & Current Affairs teams aligned to the  digital video strategy to unlock growth . This role will see you use your deep knowledge of news, current affairs and multi-platform content creation and distribution to shape the digital landscape and engage millions of consumers in Australia, and across the globe. Day to day you will:Set the daily editorial agenda, assigning tasks to a national team of journalists and producers.Commission content for specific audiences across Nine’s owned and third-party channels.Implement strategies to maximise engagement, revenue and referral traffic. Manage a team of multimedia producers and journalists, fostering a great culture.Report on content performance, sharing key insights and recommendations with leadership and stakeholders.Ensure all content meets legal and moderation standards prior to publication.Collaborate with key teams across the business to maximise the life cycle of our work.
