Manvel Public School is looking for a full time custodian to do daily cleaning of the building. This is a full time position as Manvel has a 7-week summer school program also. Expectations for the position are as follows:Regular Daily Expectations:Classrooms:
Vacuum all carpeted areas
Sweep all tiled floors with a dust mop
Empty waste baskets
Desks and tables must be wiped down daily
Unlocks doors, ensuring doors are locked after cleaning areas.
Hallways, Entryways, and Utility Rooms:
Sweep all halls and entryways with a dust mop
Vacuum entryway carpets
Clean and disinfect drinking fountains
Spot clean walls
Scrub use in hallways
Gym:
Clean and set tables up prior to lunch
Scrub the floor after lunch
Sweep gym floor to start the day
Offices:
Vacuum any carpets each night or early morning
Empty waste baskets
Bathrooms:Empty waste baskets
