SUMMARYPrepares service invoices and bills and receives payment for service transactions, facilitates smooth operation of service department, and plays key role in creating and maintaining high customer satisfaction.ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Greets customers at the cashier window in a pleasant, professional manner
Computes customer and internal bills
Collects and records cash, checks, Farm Plan, and credit card payments from customers
Maintains cash drawer
Calls in or submits online final parts and labor repair totals for approval and payment for fleet vehicle repairs
Refers customers who have questions about work performed or additional recommended maintenance or repairs to service advisors or other appropriate individuals
Handles customer concerns with integrity and poise and, when necessary, refers dissatisfied customers to appropriate individuals for resolution
Closes open invoices, particularly at month end
Develops cordial working relationships with other Dealership departments
Assists receptionist with answering telephone
Inspects service repair orders for proper completion, legibility and accuracy
Controlskeys associated with completed repair orders, returns customer's keys to them when their bills are paid and directs customers to where they may find their vehicles
