Mahube-Otwa Community Action Partnership, Inc. has an open position for a full-time, benefited, Family Development Housing Caseworker for Wadena County.
TITLE: Family Development Housing Caseworker
DUTY STATION: Mahube-Otwa Office, Wadena, MN
QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED: Four years of college and Bachelor of Science or Bachelor Arts Degree in Human Services or Health related field, or a combination of education and experience. PREFERRED: At least one year working directly with clients in human service or health programs.
BASIC FUNCTION: This position is responsible for conducting intakes and making home visits with Agency families for the purpose of working on family self-sufficiency. This position is responsible for offering families the opportunity to reach their highest level of self-sufficiency by identifying strengths and barriers, formulating a plan of action, and making the appropriate referrals to agency and community resources. The person in this position adheres to the Agency Standards of Conduct and Agency Values of client focused, community minded and resourceful. Must have the ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality of client information and work materials.
