We are seeking a Tree Care Groundworker/equipment operator. This is a seasonal/part time position (3-4 days per week on average) that can turn into a full time position for the right individual.
This position will participate in all aspects of tree work on the ground. Duties will primarily include assisting with tree pruning and removals along with planting, stump grinding, brush removal, firewood processing and commercial/residential snow removal.
Background in tree work/green industry is a plus but work ethic and attitude are more important. We will train you!
Must be able to lift up to 50Lbs.
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation to and from our shop in rural Audubon, MN. (45 mins from Fargo)
Must be drug free.
Attention to detail, quality workmanship and thoroughness in clean up are very important for this position.
Experience in safe operation of gas/diesel powered tools & equipment including but not limited to chainsaws, leaf blowers, hedgers, skid steer loaders, stump grinders, log loaders, wood chipper operations, snowblowers, trucks and trailers is a plus.
Knowledge of rope, knots and rigging procedures is a plus!
The use of hand tools, such as rakes, shovels, Pulaskis, hand saws and tarps is also common.
All PPE is provided by us. Show up with a good pair of boots and a great attitude!
Starting pay $15-17 per hour DOE.
