Job Title: WelderJob DescriptionIn this position, you will utilize your welding and fabrication experience on a daily basis. You will work on a variety of products, including tillage equipment, storage tanks, fertilizer spreaders, HVAC equipment for ethanol plants, and other custom metal products. The variety of products ensures a change in work from week to week.Responsibilities
Weld agricultural equipment using MIG welders
Train on or learn blueprints to layout products
Work alongside other welders and leads to complete projects efficiently
Fabricate material and clean up welds with a grinder
Operate overhead crane as needed to move products
Communicate with other departments to ensure product flow is smooth and efficient
Help train new hires once comfortable
Essential Skills
Welding
Fabrication
Ability to set up and adjust a welding machine
Blueprint reading
MIG welding
Experience with wirefeed welding
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Blueprint and layout experience preferred but not mandatory
Prior welding experience or education required
Experience with Miller Electric Welders, Lincoln Electric Welders, ESAB Welders, and Fronius Welders
Experience with press brake, tape measure, hand tools, flux core welding, grinders, and sheet metal
