[Spherion Staffing is looking for an experienced Estimator to work with a local manufacturing company. The Estimator is responsible for gathering, calculating and compiling structural steel and miscellaneous metals data for use in estimates and preparing routine estimates under general supervision. Interested candidates should have an Associates degree in Estimating or Bachelors degree in Construction and 2-3 years of estimating experience.[Pay $22-24/hour DOE[Responsibilities:
[-Prepare accurate quantity surveys and estimates as assigned
[-Complete estimates in agreed upon time frame
[-Solicit subcontractor and/or supplier quotations or scheduling input as required for the assignments
[-Participate in plan review and estimate reviews for respective projects
[-Assist in compiling historical cost data for projects
[-Collaborate with Architects/Engineers to request clarifications or additional information
[-Complete pre-construction survey and other preliminary documents
[-Perform majority of quantity surveys and pricing estimates
[-Prepare vendor proposal comparison and estimate summary sheets
[-Develop and complete project schedule[Requirements:

[-2-3 years of estimating experience
