Job Description:Seeking a Registered to work as part of our float pool and SWAT team in acute care at our 32nd Avenue building in Fargo. This is a full-time position that involves working on various shifts, usually 7a to 7p days or 7p to 7a nights. Holiday rotation is required, as well as every third weekend. There is a generous sign-on bonus of $10K for an ASN or $15K for a BSN, available to both new grads and experienced nurses. This position would involve floating between all three Med/Surg units, CIC, CEU and caring for overflow medical patients on CCU and ED if needed. 12-hour day/night rotation with every third weekend and every third holiday. Once fully oriented to the float nurse role and comfortable in that role, orientation to SWAT role. This role involves carrying a pager and floating throughout hospital with specific duties such as IV starts, PD catheter cares, lab draws, performing EKGs, help with admissions and discharges, assisting the floor nurses with multiple tasks, attending rapid responses, Stroke codes, Stemi alerts, Code blues, and critical patient alerts, and general rounding on all inpatient units. This RN is responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.Education Qualifications:

Nursing Degree Required

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year.
